Rob believes his calling is to help develop and care for the heart, soul, mind, and stregnth of leaders, their ideas, and their teams & organizations.
Stuff He Does Now
Rob is the Pastor of Spiritual Maturity for Saddleback Church. He is responsible for leading and overseeing discipleship processes and programs, leadership development, and leadership development programs.
Stuff He Did Before
Rob was the Multisite Launch Pastor responsible for helping to launch 10 new Saddleback campuses in and around Southern California. Rob also helps current campuses launch off-site venues and on site venues.
Rob shoulders up with Campus Pastors and ministry leaeders to achieve their visions.
Rob was the Pastor of Adult Ministries and Small Groups (Executive Campus Pastor) for Saddleback Church’s Rancho Capistrano, a campus of over 3,400 people from 45 different cities on the 170 acre Rancho Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano, CA with an average attendance of 1,600+ people over 6 services including 2 off site venues in the cities of Dana Point and Aliso Viejo.
Rob provided leadership, equipping, vision, and strategy to all adult ministries. Rob provided leadership and oversight to small groups ministry, church budget, weekend experience, building & property operations, campus strategy, and culture building.
Rob previously developed and managed Saddleback Church’s digital strategy for the PEACE 12 Cities Global Church Planting Initiative and served as a Leadership Assessment Evaluator for Saddleback’s 12 Cities International Church Plants.
Rob launched the Saddleback Church Fullerton hybrid campus.
Rob led the LAUNCH Church Planter Training team- training church planters from around the globe in person and via our on-line training delivery system
Throw in some time working in Criminal Justice, Public Education as a classroom teacher and vice-principal, and the Marine Corps. That about rounds it out!
